Two Poles played for the "Pride of Catalonia" against the Italian team in the return match. Wojciech Szczęsny played the full 120 minutes between the posts, while Robert Lewandowski returned from injury and entered the pitch in added time of the second half.

The performance of our compatriots was examined by the Spanish media. The Catalan "Sport" rated both 5 on a scale of 1-10.

"He didn't have much to say about all four of Inter's goals, although you should expect a Barcelona goalkeeper to be a hero. He did make some great saves, though, especially on Frattesi's shot in extra time, and he was very focused at the start," we read about Szczęsny.

"The Polish 'killer' returned to the game and was given added time and extra time. He had a chance to head the ball from close range, but he missed," it was written about Lewandowski.

The Poles also received the same ratings as from "Sport" from the daily "Marca".

"He defended Barella's shot brilliantly, and in the 86th minute he made a successful exit from the penalty area to prevent Thuram from controlling the ball and taking a shot. He couldn't do much with Inter's third goal, but it looks like he could with the fourth one," Szczęsny's performance was commented on.

"He returned from injury, but only in added time. In the second half of extra time, however, he did not do well with his headers" - it was emphasized about Lewandowski.

"Mundo Deportivo" on the other hand does not award players with grades, but describes their performance. So how did they sum up the Poles?

"In the goalkeeper duel, his colleague from Inter was better, but Szczęsny was not responsible for the goals conceded, but he also did not put on the superhero outfit that Sommer was wearing," it was concluded.

"He replaced Ferran when it seemed that everything was already decided. Maybe they didn't expect such a demanding extra time. He had a chance with a header, but he allegedly fouled Sommer anyway," Lewandowski was described.
